Overall Job Summary

  • At Greengrass Investment Limited, We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical equipment in our facility.
  • The candidate should have a strong background in diagnostics and possess excellent problem-solving skills, along various range of mechanical maintenance projects essential to our mining operations.
  • You will need to be experienced in mechanical maintenance work, and able to safely and efficiently carry out a variety of tasks. We are looking for someone who is reliable and hard-working, and who takes pride in their work. If you’re interested in joining our team, please send us your CV.

Requirements / Responsibilities

  • Vocational training, Trade Test or prior mechanical maintenance experience is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Required to work all week (inclusive of Sunday’s), but work schedule is weather dependent, so flexibility is highly encouraged.
  • A willingness to workpaidovertime, as required.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanicalcomponents, installation,troubleshooting techniquesand repairs.
  • Identify mechanicalfailures anddeterminefuture preventive maintenance needs.
  • Understand and follow directions from supervisors, which is not limited to undertaking other related mechanicalduties as directed.
  • Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety policies and encourage all employees, sub-contractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture.
  • Understand and comply with Company policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work standing or in a crouched position for long period.
  • Diagnose mechanical faultsand provide timely solutions.
  • Responsible for performinggeneralmechanicalrepairs to all mechanicalequipment, to include;minor welding/fabrication works,perform routine inspections,installations,repairs, and maintenance on all mechanical equipments working along side engineers and supervisors.

Salary
N100,000 - N140,000 monthly.
