Marketing Manager at Hyde Energy Limited


Hyde Energy began operations in Nigeria, importing and exporting Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) and selling clean petroleum products. These operations established our base as a trading company. We enhanced our import and export activities by: acquiring a tank farm for storing petroleum products & securing a two-year term contract for LPG export.

Hyde Energy’s vision is rooted in our desire to be a leading oil trading and marketing company by brand presence, service delivery and profitatability. We make good use of the expertise of our people, who have extensive technical and practical knowledge of the West and Central African oil-producing regions. Over the years, we have expanded our business portfolio into crude oil, reï¬Âned oil products, LPG and dry bulk commodities. Similarly, our reach has grown, and we serve customers from offices in Lagos, Abuja, Port Harcourt, Mauritius, London and Malta.

Job Title: Marketing Manager

About the job

  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and executing our marketing strategy.
  • You will lead our marketing campaigns, evaluate our marketing performance metrics, and collaborate with internal teams.
  • You will have a strong marketing background with excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and manage integrated marketing campaigns across various platforms (digital, print, events, etc.).
  • Analyze campaign performance and optimize strategies to maximize ROI and achieve marketing objectives.
  • Monitor external agencies to ensure brand programs are performed with required quality and agreed cost & timescales.
  • Organising events such as product launches, exhibitions and photo shoots.
  • Manage the ecommerce business by planning and executing online campaigns and promotions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (minimum of second class lower) in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field (Master's Degree preferred)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Professional membership is and added advantage
  • At least 7 years post NYSC Proven experience in marketing.
  • FMCG experience is of added advantage.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
