Job Title: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- The CFO is responsible for directing the fiscal functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles issued by the Financial Accounting Standards Board, the Securities and Exchange Commission, and other regulatory and advisory organizations and in accordance with financial management techniques and practices appropriate within the industry.
Key Deliverables
- Knowledge of generally accepted accounting and internal control principles.
- Knowledge of statutory provisions.
- Business Acumen
- Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills to evaluate alternatives and provide recommendations on business issues.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
- Technology savvy with experience selecting and overseeing software installations and managing relationships with software vendors; advanced knowledge of accounting and reporting software.
- Ability and desire to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including finance and non-finance managers.
- Oversee and coordinate finance, investment, supply chain and treasury functions.
- Responsible for Project budget and product pricing.
- Oversee all financial and project accounting; ensure that expenditures are consistently aligned with project budgets throughout the project period; collate financial reporting materials for government, corporate.
- Evaluate opportunities and formulate business and financial strategies and plans for expansions.
- Monitor and direct the implementation of strategic business plans.
- Develop financial and tax strategies to ensure tax efficiency.
- Manage capital raising and fund sourcing needs and activities of the company.
- Prepare and present Monthly Profitability Reports, quarterly and yearly financial statements to relevant stakeholders.
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or any relevant field, MBA (Added advantage)
- Chartered Accountant or equivalent
- Strong proficiency with using QuickBooks/Sage pastel Accounting Software
- 7-10 years of demonstrated work experience in variety of accounting roles
- A demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively (oral and written), establish trust quickly, and create win-win situations.
Job Title: Chief Operations Officer (COO – Engineering & Support)
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- Our client seeks to hire a Chief Operations Officer (COO) whose responsibility is to ensure that projects are delivered on time, on budget and to the required level of quality and functionality.
- They are responsible for realized revenue by managing the logistics of the organization, preparing budgets and inventories, and overseeing the supervision of employees within the department.
Key Deliverables
- Good experience with been responsible for numerous successful projects (delivered on time, meeting client requirements, with high team satisfaction), including some complex projects, and projects involving several project staff and clients
- Outstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of professional methodology.
- Pro-active in developing and implementing strategies that significantly mitigate risk.
- Excellent communications (including written and oral presentation skills) and leadership skills.
- Maintain the master project plan showing all open projects with time plans and milestones.
- Provide planning direction, and coordination for all project activities while achieving optimum use of personnel, equipment, materials, and facilities.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, to budget, to specification and to company standards.
- Directly oversee a small number of significant projects requiring a high level of communications and coordination.
- Manage the personnel resources of the operations team including performance reviews and future resources planning.
- Ensure that all projects undergo a kickoff design review and ongoing operational reviews with the senior project team present at both.
Requirements
- PMP and CTS certifications required
- A relevant qualification in project management and Prince 2 certification
- Minimum 7-10 years of increasingly responsible experience, with at least five years of managing increasingly complex projects in a technical environment.
- Extensive experience in the Engineering Industry
- Experience in the development and management of projects.
- Specialist Certification in a relevant field
