We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Metrology Technician Location: Lagos Job Specification Responsibilities will include:

  • Working closely with the Product Quality Engineers and Product core teams, providing a full metrology service for NPI, product investigations, capability studies and process validation
  • To develop and implement new metrology solutions to support the business needs
  • Work closely with applicable departments to ensure seamless introduction of planned measurement activities ensuring effective transfer of knowledge into standard working practice
  • Creation of work instructions and associated documents to support metrology solutions
  • Conducting First Article inspections and reporting to support new product introduction for both in-house manufactured and bought in items
  • Creation of programs in line with applicable standards for CMM’s, vision systems etc
  • Effective management of applicable metrology program files and program verification process
  • Calibration of gauges and instruments
Person Specification
  • Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or extensive inspection experience within a manufacturing / engineering environment
  • Highly motivated, proactive and capable of working independently or as a member of a team
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Organised and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Works with a high level of accuracy
  • Goal orientated and demonstrates initiative and drive
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to deliver to agreed deadlines
  • Experience of working in Medical, Orthopaedic or a highly regulated industry (desirable)
  • Understanding of Measurement Analysis techniques (desirable)
Essential skills:
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, including geometric tolerance, and establish appropriate measurement solutions
  • Ability to identify, analyse and resolve measurement issues and generate solutions
  • Competent in the use of CMM, vision systems and all general inspection equipment
  • Ability to interpret and apply applicable standards to CMM programming and probing strategies (preferably able to program in MCOSMOS)
  • Ability to make informed decisions in relation to conformity
  • Ability to apply First Principle measurement solutions
  • Ability to create technical reports
  • Good level of computer literacy
Job Title: Quality Control Manager Location: Lagos Main Purpose
  • To ensure that all incoming material, in process product and process quality control and final inspection requirements are met within the Corin goods inwards, manufacturing and inspection departments.
  • To assure the acceptable outgoing quality of Corin Ltd manufactured devices.
  • To provide Quality Control support to the Corin manufacturing.
Primary Tasks
  • To manage and resource all aspects of quality control within goods inwards, inspection and product review and release teams, including budgetary elements.
  • To monitor compliance and ensure adherence to standards of the quality control resources within manufacturing quality / end of line inspection and goods inwards support functions.
  • Ensure daily output is maintained to support the manufacturing quality requirements for the goods inwards and final inspection teams while maintaining quality levels to the defined standards.
  • To identify and provide the training needs of all personnel with regards to GMP and the regulatory environment and ongoing compliance enforcement.
  • To lead Management review of Quality control performance.
  • To monitor, trend and manage / report the effectiveness of the quality control teams activity against KPI’s.
  • To monitor, trend and manage / report cost of poor quality and sources of non-conformance and liaise with manufacturing management and Quality assurance teams to identify improvement actions.
  • Be a key stakeholder and champion of Corin’s Quality Control strategies and key improvement programs.
  • Track, analyse and resolve customer and routine production quality needs / problems.
Key results areas:
  • High level of demonstrated Quality control and quality standards within the inspection and product review and release teams.
  • Effective reporting of KPI and improvement planning activity.
  • Compliance with pre-agreed timelines.
Job Title: Receptionist/Front of House Location: Lagos Job Specification
  • Front of house services for reception area
  • Management of incoming telephone calls, and call logs
  • Distribution of internal/external post, ensuring outgoing post is ready for collection
  • Maintenance and distribution of the Sales and Product Management contact details and Corin telephone directory
  • Management of the reception area
  • Corin’s offices are open from 08:00 to 18:00 Monday to Friday and the team member will need to be able to work flexibly in order to ensure these hours are kept
  • This person must be an effective communicator at all levels
  • Administrative support for various functions will be required.
  • Manage corporate driver/s used by the company
  • Liaise with external transportation companies
