We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

 

Job Title: Assistant Procurement Manager

Location: Apapa, Lagos

The Job

  • Ensure adequacy of bid specifications and preparation of sourcing related documents
  • Process ERP transactions and monitor contract executions; termination, renewal or amendment of terms
  • Identify and close bypass to increase procurement involvement on spend
  • Identify and deliver savings on spend under management.
  • Support business partnering of assigned business units and deliver on approved SLA.
  • Track, report key functional metrics in line with departmental objectives.
  • Assist the Procurement Manager in establishing strategic relationships with key suppliers
  • Handle performance issues and escalate as necessary.

The Person Must

  • Be numerate and possess analytical skills.
  • Possess people & project management skills and must be confident.
  • Be persuasive, have excellent negotiations and effective communication skills.
  • Be results driven.

Qualification

  • First degree in any field
  • Membership in CIPS is an added advantage.

Experience:

  • At least 3 years cognate experience.

Job Title: Health & Safety Manager

Location: Nationwide

The Job

  • Advise management on the implications of current and emerging health, safety and environment legislation, including evaluation options, making recommendations and generating action plans to ensure compliance.
  • Investigate all accidents and damage to Plant property, identify root causes and recommend actions to prevent re-occurrence.
  • Liaise with external bodies on HSE matters for support and collaboration and to keep abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices
  • Further FMN PLC’s commitment to improving Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) performance by implementing health safety and environment objectives and compliance with local regulatory requirements, to prevent injury and maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • HND / B.Sc in Environmental Sciences or Engineering or any other related course.
  • HSE Certification such as NEBOSH is required etc.

Experience:

  • Minimum of Seven years cognate experience.
