Ski industries is a food and beverage company into the production of water, fruit drinks and our mission is for us to be a household name. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Maintenance/ Technical Officer Location: Lagos Responsibilities

• Determines changes in dimensional requirements of parts by inspecting used parts.
• Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments
• Controls downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance.
• Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories.
• Provides mechanical maintenance information by answering questions and requests.
• Prepares mechanical maintenance
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops.
• Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipments
• Maintenance of engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines.
• Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices.
• Removes defective parts by dismantling devices.

Requirements

• Be well versed with the safety and quality standards followed in a conventional factory setting
• Be trained in using a wide range of machines and equipment used in different production units
• Be able to work in a goal driven environment and under strict deadlines
• Be able to communicate effectively with the coworkers and follow instructions of the seniors in the factory
• Be able to develop and maintain professional relationship with colleagues and work with team spirit to achieve the goals
• Be able to work with a zeal for perfection and learn new skills and procedures in a short span of time
• Minimum of a Diploma in Sciences or Engineering.
