Cozym Process Systems (CPS) is a family of young and talented Engineers, Consultants and Technocrats, with tentacles embedded in a diverse range of engineering professions. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Finance Manager Location: Lagos Responsibilities

  • Ensures reports and disclosures comply with applicable government regulations, professional standards and organizational policies.
  • Works on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth knowledge of the company and the industry.
  • Ensures budgets, schedules, and variance analyses meet corporate requirements.
  • Oversee the preparation of the annual budget, long term operating plan, and monthly/quarterly forecasts for the organization
  • Present financial reporting package for senior management encompassing financial statements, analysis reports, and KPI dashboards
  • Develops, modifies, and implements financial systems, financial operational specifications and controls, and policies and procedures.
  • Develops and manages financial reporting framework across the organization.
  • Develops and presents critical analyses to Executive leadership.
Additional Job Responsibilities:
  • Managing the company's invoicing and collections operations.
  • Overseeing the company’s cashflow management.
  • Defining and supervising the company’s credit policies.
  • Working closely with the company's management and international finance partners.
  • Liaising with external FIRS offices and tax advisors.
  • Overseeing payroll management and reporting.
  • Supporting the preparation of financial statements and tax returns.
  • Defining financial targets and working continuously to reach and surpass them.
  • All other duties as assigned
  • Directs and/or manages the organization's budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis and reporting functions.
  • Reviews and approves recommendations for financial planning and control, and presents relevant information to executive management.
  • Monitors division, department or business unit's adherence to approved budgets.
  • Manages the preparation and distribution of periodic financial statements for internal and external users.
  • Ensures reports and disclosures comply with applicable governmental regulations, professional standards and organizational policies.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience with SAGE strongly preferred
  • Strong proven track record with Quantitative Analysis; Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Must also have excellent communications skills and the ability to communicate with senior levels in the organization.
  • Demonstration of excellent verbal and written communication skills with the flexibility and ability to work with several areas and levels within the business.
  • Ability to work with numerous reports/documents containing confidential information.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance Economics, Engineering, or related field required
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience in a large organization
  • Experience with Microsoft suite of products with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Application of knowledge gained concerning balance sheets, P&L's, and other financial statements to complete required financial analysis
