We are currently seeking qualified, creative, dynamic and passionate individual to fill the vacant positions below:
Job Title: Head Nurse
Location: Lagos
Duties and Responsibilities
- Exercise independent judgment in medical emergencies; demonstrate tact, diplomacy, patience, and compassion.
- Conduct patient assessments, ward rounds and review (diagnosis, management plan medications of clients’ admitted in the facility)
- Assist the Program Manager in patient’s assessment, treatment and review
- Communicate with family members on patient’s progress and further management.
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned.
- Oversee the nursing operations of HOR including nursing care, supervision of mental health nurses, evaluations and general patient support.
- Conduct individual, group psychotherapy and family interaction meetings.
- Obtain medical, psychiatric, social, and family histories on new admissions, schedule and arrange for special tests; develop discharge plans; maintain charts and logs.
- Assist in developing and organizing clinical treatment programs including individualized patient treatment plans and case management reviews.
- Keeps medical records and prepares psychiatric reports.
Qualifications and Requirements
- 5-7 years’ experience in a mental health setting.
- Excellent relationship management.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Must be a registered psychiatric nurse.
- Additional qualifications/certifications will be an advantage.
Job Title: Crisis (Risk) Officer
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe environment within HOR Centre.
- Use of appropriate restraining techniques where necessary
- Assist mental health nurses with assigned tasks.
- Support patients through the recovery process.
- Provide crisis support ant intervention at the HOR Centre.
- Act as a chaperone for patients within and outside the Centre.
Qualifications
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be physically fit and strong.
- Observant and ability to identify possible risk situations.
- Minimum of OND in Behavioural Health or any related field.
- Previous work experience at a health facility is an added advantage, though not mandatory.
Job Title: Cleaning Staff
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
- Ensure cleaning materials are used appropriately to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Communicate cleaning inventory needs to the administrative officers.
- Ensure the facility and its environs are kept neat and presentable at all times.
- Ensure prompt safety procedures and infection control interventions.
Qualifications
- Minimum of O' levels / Secondary School Leaving Certificate.
Job Title: Program Manager
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- The Program Manager will provide technical and management supervision in the design, implementation and monitoring of House of Refuge programs. Candidates for this position must demonstrate strong leadership with supporting experience of at least 5 years in a similar capacity.
- The Program Manager for House of Refuge will assist the Program Director in managing the drug rehabilitation and outreach programs.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervisory oversight to program staff and volunteers to ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Monitor operational budget in line with approved financial work plans.
- Provide periodic reports to the management and governing board.
- Network with relevant agencies and ensure compliance with best practice and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee a strong post rehabilitation monitoring and evaluation program.
- Manage relevant program data and statistics including admissions, discharge, referrals, relapse, etc.
- Carry out other related duties as assigned.
- Manage the daily operations of the House of Refuge center.
- Develop and monitor program standards for quality, efficiency, and effectiveness.
- Oversee assessment, diagnosis, the development of management plans and follow-up.
- Support the development and implementation of HOR health promotion program.
- Provide intervention services to potential clients and support family members to understand the program and the recovery process.
Qualifications and Requirements
- At least two years’ experience in a supervisory/managerial role, preferably program management required.
- Master's degree in Psychology, Counselling, Addictions, Social Services or related-field preferred.
- Experience in a drug rehabilitation health setting will be added advantage.
- MBBS degree and/or related field e.g. Psychology.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in mental health care or addiction.
Skills:
- Demonstrate good decision making skills and ability to take initiative.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Program implementation, administration and management.
- Good communication and interpersonal and problem solving skills.
Job Title: Mental Health Nurse
Location: Lagos
Responsibilities
