Job Summary

  • On behalf of our client, a leading Oil & Gas company, we are recruiting for the role of Group Managing Director.
  • The Group Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing the company’s strategic direction, fostering growth across all divisions, and ensuring operational excellence.
  • This role demands strong leadership skills, a keen understanding of the market landscape, and the ability to cultivate relationships with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the Group's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and vision.
  • Oversee the management of all laws and regulations impacting the business, ensuring compliance and risk management.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and collaboration among employees.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities, adapting the group’s strategy accordingly.
  • Report to the Board of Directors on organizational performance and progress towards strategic goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to enhance business growth opportunities.
  • Drive profitability and financial performance across all business areas, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • A minimum of 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years in an executive leadership role
  • Experience in leading strategic initiatives and driving organizational change
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to inspire and engage a diverse workforce, fostering a culture of high performance.
  • Proven track record of managing large, complex organizations
  • Strong financial acumen, with sound knowledge of financial management and profitability analysis
