  • Manages the overall operations of the business, its financials, exercising discretion while doing so.
  • Ensures company standards are met and all associates comply with all corporate store policies and procedures.
  • Upholds and executes the vision, mission, policies of Sweet Kiwi and assists others in doing the same.
  • Ensures customer experience is satisfactory at all times.
  • Is responsible for the promoting the professional growth and development of the entire team.
Essential Job Functions
  • Ensures all stores are in compliance of all Local, State and Federal regulations
  • Is the “role-model” for outstanding customer service and overall Associate standards.
  • Ensures cleanliness, health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Spends time in each store to ensure compliance, evaluate staff members, meet with customers, understand service gaps and resolve deficiencies.
  • Ensure company standards are met and associates comply with policies and procedures.
  • Overall management of all stores, supervision of all subordinate staff and policy implementation.
  • Employee staffing, Training and development.
  • Setting goals and ensuring all stores and teams meet their goals.
  • Upholds and executes the vision and mission of Sweet Kiwi and assist others in doing the same.
  • Demonstrate Leadership and vision in managing staff groups and major projects or initiatives.
  • Manages financial acumen for all areas including financial reporting with sales reports P&L reports, writing and adhering to annual budgets, cash handling, waste and monthly management reports.
  • Monitors monthly balance sheets, budgets, nominal roll, payroll, vendor payments and complete operational accounting in collaboration with accountant.
  • Analyzes and creates trend for financial data.
  • Is knowledgeable on HACCP controls along with proper storage and use of food.
  • Plans menu in consultation with Chef.
  • Other job-related activities as requested by Managing Director.
  • Management and scheduling of staff effectively and efficiently.
  • Controls store operational costs (Food, Labour, Maintenance etc.)
  • Manages inventory managers and staff to ensure proper monitoring of inventory.
  • Coordinates training, continuous coaching and development of newly hired staff and all staff.
  • Ensures all Associates adhere to company standard, policies and procedures.
  • Ensure product served to customers meet Sweet Kiwi standard.
  • Provides counseling, coaching, discipline and mentoring to associates as warranted.
  • Conducts weekly management meetings and monthly village meetings.

Candidate Expertise:
  • A fresh and passionate approach to food and beverage
  • Experience with QSR type concepts is essential
  • Experience with concept development is essential
  • Ability to create budgets, flash reports, financial targets and forecasts
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures and reconciliation of multiple cash banks and reports
  • Strong catering experience required
  • Conformity to the highest standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.
