We are recruiting to fill the position below:       Job Title: Finance Specialist Location: Lagos Job Description

• Import In progress Accounting:
  • Proper and timely accounting of Goods in Transits
  • Proper and accurate keeping of foreign vendors accounts.
  • Checking of Landed cost for accuracy before passing to the respective plants and properly accounting on timely basis
  • Monthly review of forex gain/loss
  • Reconciliation of foreign vendors accounts.
  • Preparation of  GIT report
• Fixed Assets Accounting:
  • Proper and timely accounting o fixed asset movement: acquisition, transfer and disposal
  • Calculating and accounting for depreciation on a monthly basis
  • Preparation of fixed asset schedule on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Tagging of Fixed Assets
• Preparation of journal vouchers, debit and credit notes
• Ensure Vendor Reconciliation with Major Vendors:
  •  Reconciliation of Major Vendors

• B.Sc (Accounting)/ Partly or Qualified ICAN/ACA.
• Adequate knowledge of NAV Dynamics or any other ERP
• Working Knowledge of Excel Package
• 5 years on the job knowledge in a similar role.
