Job Title: Driller

Job Description
- Operates all equipment at the Driller’s console in a safe
manner; maintain a clean, tidy and hazard- free condition on the drill
floor and associated area.
- Assists in the planning, organization and supervision of rig move operations.
- Monitor the well condition at all times (i.e depth, mud weight,
weight on bit). Recognize, interpret and respond to down hole
conditions.
- Perform drilling-related operations such as directional
drilling, working stuck pipe, running and cementing casing strings,
coring, fishing, and assisting in wire line logging, well testing, and
other special operations.
- Supervise and direct operations in the picking up or laying down of tubular and all drilling- related equipment
- Ensure that the solid control equipment and mud mixing operations are being monitored constantly.
- Hold pre-tour meeting with the drilling for all drilling crew operations.
- Secure the well during an emergency or well control situation; assist in the well- killing operations
- Maintain equipment files, drilling logs and records; perform all
technical calculations required to carry out drilling operations.
- Inform Toolpusher and customer representative if a deviation from planned operation occurs.
- Supervise the lubrication and maintenance of all drilling and
associated equipment and ensure it is carried out in accordance with the
Preventive maintenance system.
Qualification/ Experience
- Graduate/ Engineering added advantage
- Valid well control certificate driller level

Job Title: Electrical Supervisor

Job Description
- Supervise the maintenance and repair of all electrical and electronic equipment onboard the vessel.
- Ensure daily completion of inspections and maintenance on electrical/electronic equipment.
- Enforce the permit to work and isolation system within the electrical/electronic department.
- Ensure that the Technical Support Center (TSC) is advised of electrical issues as required.
- Supervise the maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of
electronic systems including dynamic positioning, communication, data
acquisition, computers and navigational equipment
- Ensure that an adequate supply of spares is maintained onboard
to fulfill maintenance requirements and facilitate a safe and efficient
operation
- Assist the maintenance supervisor/Chief Engineer in supplying information for maintenance and repair budget.
- Ensure that all installation, calibration and modification to electronic systems and components are properly carried out.
- Report any incidents, potential hazards or abnormal situations
to the maintenance supervisor/ Chief Engineer and other departmental
heads.
- Actively participate in weekly safety meetings and pre-tour meetings as required.
- Ensure a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping is maintained onboard the rig.

Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description
- Supervise and control the maintenance and repair of mechanical,
electrical, electronics, subsea, and information technology equipment on
the vessel.
- Maintain control over the rig’s Rig Maintenance System (RMS) and associated computer database.
- Coordinate periodic maintenance activities with the OIM and other department heads.
- Plan the service and maintenance of equipment according to the RMS guidelines.
- Ensure that reports for repair and maintenance of equipment are accurate and complete
- Liaise with the marine department regarding the loading,
ordering and use of fuel, potable water, and drill water in
consideration of the rig’s stability.
- Inform the OIM and other department’s heads of any technical
problems or limitations that may affect the safe operation of the rig.
- Supply rig management with maintenance statistics of the vessel.
- Approve all maintenance department requisition purchase orders.
- Document any and all changes to the RMS system and provide
reasons for making these changes to Rig Manager via direct supervisor.
- Provide input in the survey of the vessel and ways to reduce the out of service time of the vessel.
- Communicate equipment problems or breakdown information via direct supervisor to field support group.
- Implement follow-up requirements of audits, as issued by clients, regulatory authorities or rig management.

Job Title: Offshore Installation Manager

Job Description
- Manage the manpower and resources of the rig to achieve optimum
performance so as to ensure the well program is carried out in a safe,
efficient and productive manner.
- Hold daily operations meeting with Customer Representative and rig department heads.
- Promote and ensure that all company policies and procedures are communicated and understood by personnel on the rig.
- Manage the planning and efficient execution of the drilling
program in coordination with Customer Representative and rig department
heads.
- Ensure pre-tour meetings are carried out involving all on board personnel.
- Organize and supervise the activities of drilling, marine and
maintenance departments and ensure rig-specific procedures are
understood and observed by all personnel onboard.
- Maintain daily communication with the rig manager on all relevant activities regarding the rig’s operation and needs
- Supervise and perform jacking operations for jack-up drilling units
- Ensure that pre-spud meetings are conducted and that well
related hazards are recognized and managed appropriately by the key
personnel.
- Plan operations with the marine department as related to rig
moves, mooring, station keeping and stability. Ensure that guidelines of
the rig’s marine operations manual are understood.
- Responsible, along with customer representative, for all
third-party services on the rig and ensure that they comply with Shelf
Drilling policy and safety processes.

Job Description
- Responsible for the drilling operations and associated activities and ensure that they are in accordance with the well program.
- Ensure drilling operations are carried out in a safe, efficient and productive manner.
- Ensure that the driller is provided each tour with the Standing
Instructions to Driller (SID) that is relevant to the planned
operations.
- Monitor the maintenance, repair and installation of all drilling
equipment including repair, lubrication, maintenance records, and
inventory levels.
- Maintain records of inspections and certification of drilling equipment, tools and tubular.
- Ensure the mud mixing systems and solid control equipment are being monitored constantly and properly maintained.
- Relieve the Driller at the Driller’s console as operational requirement demands
- Partake in the daily operations meeting with the OIM and other rig department heads.
- Call a Time Out for Safety (TOFS) whenever an unplanned hazard or a change in the expected results is observed.
- Demonstrate commitment to company safety policies through the consistent application of leadership and guidance.
- Ensure that DROPS inspections are conducted as per rigs DROPS inspection program.
- Provide leadership and motivation to rig personnel. Ensure that continuous improvement is applied routinely.

Job Title: Chief Mechanic

- Perform daily inspections and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
- Supply information to assist in the development of maintenance and repair budget.
- Assist in maintaining marine equipment i.e. cranes, thrusters, ballast pumps and valves, auxillary equipment, etc.
- Ensure that service, maintenance and other operational reports are accurate and complete
- Liaise with the marine department regarding the loading,
ordering and use of fuel, potable water, and drill water in
consideration of rig's stability.
- Communicate equipment problems or breakdown information via direct supervisor to technical field support
- Carry out classification society surveys as part of continuous survey of machinery.
- Plan and coordinate with other department's prior t any major activity such as rig moves, running and retrieving BOP, etc.
- Inform supervisor and other departments heads of any technical
problems or limitations that may affect the safe operation of the rig
- Prepare annual performance appraisal for all subordinates.

Job Title: Chief Electrician

Job Description
- Responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of all electrical equipment onboard the rig.
- Ensure daily inspections and maintenance on electrical equipment is carried out.
- Carry out periodic maintenance according to the J.D.E guidelines and coordinate same with supervisor and other department heads.
- Carry out maintenance and repair on electrical components of
drilling equipment, i.e. Driller’s console, DC drilling motors and
auxiliaries, Top Drive System, draw-works, mud pumps, etc.
- Ensure that all subordinates have the necessary skills and
experience to fulfill their assigned tasks in a safe and efficient
manner.
- Supervise and guide crew members in their On the Job Training (OJT) program.
- Incorporate the risk assessment planning process into all tasks, whether working alone or as part of a team
- Ensure that reports for repair and maintenance of equipment are accurate and complete

Job Title: Assistant Barge Master

Job Description
- Assists the Barge Master in ensuring that all marine aspects of
the rig’s operation are carried out in accordance to statutory and
regulatory controls and guidelines.
- Supervises Crane Operators, Roustabouts and Painters in work
related to drilling operations, deck maintenance, loading and offloading
workboats, e.t.c
- Ensure that all official log books are accurately and completely
filled out and signed by the proper persons and maintain the vessel or
as required by policies and regulations.
- Assist in monitoring weather/environmental conditions. Advise
the Barge Supervisor/ OIM on conditions likely to affect drilling
operations and seaworthiness of the rig.
- Review, understand and become familiar with the rig’s safety case.
- Assist the Barge Supervisor during emergency situations and emergency protection responses as designated on the station bill.
- Coordinate all helicopters and supply boats traffic to the rig
and assist in supervising transfers of materials to and from the rig.
- Assist in ensuring that all marine and navigation equipment is properly maintained and ready for use at all times.
- Supervise tests on firefighting, lifesaving equipment, obstacle lighting and audible signals.

Job Title: Barge Master

- Supervises the operation of the marine department to ensure the safe and efficient running of the rig.
- Actively participate in the daily operations meeting with the
OIM and other rig department heads and coordinate activities with the
company representatives.
- Ensure that all marine aspects of the rig’s operations are
carried out in accordance with statutory and regulatory controls and
guidelines.
- Assist in the effective management of the preventive maintenance system and ensure that all records are properly maintained.
- Supervise the operation and maintenance of pollution control system
- Coordinate and supervise periodic inspections of the rig’s
structure, including hull compartments and critical joints and liaise
with any 3rd party inspection teams for cranes/lifting gear/ and hull
inspections.
- Prepare and supervise rig move plans and associated mobilization preparations.
- Ensure that all lifting gears are inspected and certified, correctly color coded, maintained, and stowed properly.
- Operate and maintain the bulk system as required.
- Ensure that cranes are in safe working condition.
- Monitor quantities of expendables such as fuel, potable water, drill water, etc.
- Ensure that a high standard of hygiene and housekeeping is
maintained onboard the rig and coordinate inspections with the
medic/OIM/RSTC
