Recognising the need for a Specialist Medical Recruitment company in the Western Cape, Eta Lyons founded Eta Lyons Medical Recruitment in October 1986. Eta is a qualified Medical Technologist and after completing her training, decided that she wanted to go into sales. She joined Roussel Laboratories ( now part of the Sanofi Group of companies) where she worked for 10 years, 5 years as a Medical Representative and 5 years as an RSM, managing two top performing divisions in the Western and Eastern Cape. Eta enjoyed great success and soon expanded the operation to include KZN and in 1989 opened and office in Gauteng.
