Job Title: Medical Lab Technician
Location: Apo Resettlement, Abuja (FCT)

Job Summary

• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Lab Technician to join our team. As a Lab Technician, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients, processing and preparing samples for laboratory testing, and performing various lab tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases.

Responsibilities

• Collecting, receiving, labeling, and analyzing samples using the correct testing equipment.
• Designing and executing laboratory testing in line with standard testing procedures, recording observations, and interpreting findings.
• Recording all experimental data and test results accurately using the company-specified format.
• Ordering laboratory supplies when needed.
• Providing technical support, when necessary.
• Must stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and technology.
• Maintaining daily logs and equipment record books.
• Ensuring constant cleaning, sterilizing, and calibrating of all laboratory equipment.
• maintain a clean and safe laboratory environment.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have a certificate of Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Minimum of 1 year post school experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician.
• Must be exceptionally with sample collection
• Good commuication skill
• Must have good soft skills including but not limited to paying attention to details, ability to work with little or no supervision, Teamwork, Leadership, Initiative, resourcefulness, adaptability, decisiveness, interpersonal skills, written/oral communication
• Provide evidence of progressive professional improvement

• A current practising licence

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a diverse group of people of all ages;

Salary
N50,000 - N80,000 Monthly.
