Job Title: Deputy Manager - Client Service
Location: Lagos

Job Purpose
- The Deputy Manager - Client Service shall develop a professional
working relationship across multiple clients with the goal of
maximizing the financial potential of each client.
- He / she will be gauging the growth potential of each client in order to retain clients and act on key growth opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Shall be main contact for all clients and will be entrusted with the client service as well as project management roles.
- Working with a account managers and media planners to assess
client/brand problem(s) and setting the right objectives (business,
marketing, communications, and media)
- Project manage the execution of client briefs, ensuring that
projects are delivered on time, within budget and continuously ensuring
agency efficiencies and profit margins are delivered.
- Responsible for the execution of client strategies and management of the business relationship at mid management levels.
- Executing and implementation of project plan from start to finish.
- Assess the current client relationship and compile core reports for presentation to reporting line.
- Producing billings reports every three months.
Main Responsibilities
Client and Account Management:
- A deep understanding of the clients’ industries/business areas.
- Build strong client relationships at mid to senior levels.
- Deepen the client relationship with the goal of understanding
the client’s objectives and assisting the client in reaching their
internal targets.
- Write, assemble and present proposals to clients.
- Be proactive with research and proposals to clients.
- Reviewing of agency work, ensuring that outputs meet client briefs and feedback, both written and verbal.
- Work closely with the strategist to ensure client briefs are
correctly distilled and the information is transferred into the business
brief.
- Business objectives and KPI’s will need to be established and agreed upon by the agency and the client.
- Leading and writing agenda’s for client meetings.
- Having knowledge of long term development projects.
- Quality assurance of work delivered to client.
- Digital Media process & campaign management on integrated projects
Project Management:
- Need to ensure all projects are managed professionally, deadlines are reached on time and financial targets are met.
- Attend new project briefings.
- Briefing documents as well as verbal briefings must take place
to ensure all the parties involved are aligned before the project
commences.
- Highlight any risks before the project commences.
- Project scope documents will need to be completed before compiling costing estimates.
- Ensure the client agrees to the costing estimate and signs the scope document before resource scheduling can take place.
- Project plan must be completed in Smartsheet.
- Manage a junior project manager.
- Drive successful implementation of all project management responsibilities.
New Business:
- Depending on client portfolio, working on new business development opportunities.
- Service the needs of the client, in the process of achieving internal goals
Reporting:
- Work closely with the client to ensure the agency supports the client up until the final campaign report.
- Coordinate weekly and monthly reports.
People:
- Constantly motivate and develop team members.
- Provide evaluation of team members to the line-managers.
- Provide succinct feedback on client requirements to broader team i.e. Planners and Specialists and Account Managers.
- Be able to communicate and lead internal briefing workshops and to be able to clearly understand campaign / brief objective.
- Reach out to the Lead Business Unit Director for mentorship on key issues
Man Specification
- Education: B.Sc Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Media.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of digital media experience within a digital agency.
- Proven track record in account management (3 client / brand references)
- Working with brands and brand building
