Kydal Office Point - Our client, a renowned Catering Service located in Ibadan, is recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Executive Chef Location: Ibadan, Oyo Job Responsibilities

  • Possess knowledge in continental dishes like Italian, Asian dishes
  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
  • Estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
  • Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  • Manage kitchen staff
  • Rectify arising problems or complaints
  • Give prepared plates the “final touch”
  • Perform administrative duties
  • Maintain a clean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards
  • Keep up with cooking trends and best practices
Qualification and Experience
  • 7 to 10 years proven working experience as a head chef
  • Excellent record of kitchen management
  • Ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently
  • Capable of delegating multiple tasks
  • Communication and leadership skills
  • B.Sc/HND in Culinary science or related certificate.
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to Ibadan.
    Job Title: Pastry Chef Location: Ibadan, Oyo Job Responsibilities
  • Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of clients
  • Keep the kitchen organized
  • Prepare wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc.
  • Follow traditional and modern recipes
  • Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc.
  • To ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting
  • Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for baking
  • Supervise chefs in training in the pastry kitchen
  • Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to work more efficiently
  • Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standard
Qualification and Experience
  • Minimum of an OND with up to 5 to 7 years as a Pastry Chef
  • Must be creative
  • Must live in or be willing to relocate to Ibadan
  • Organize and leadership skills
  • In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition
  • Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
