Job Title: Corporate Sales Manager

Location: Lagos

Purpose of the Job (Brief)

  • The Corporate Sales Manager is responsible for managing assigned business portfolio, including prospective accounts within the assigned business portfolio.
  • He is responsible for revenue protection, secures new revenue within the company’s existing clients’ portfolio of as well as seeking / hunting out new clients & businesses within the assigned business portfolio.
  • Aside from revenue drive, he is meant to ensure an excellent client experience / service delivery satisfaction at all times.

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate clients needs.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling and networking.
  • Enhance brand recognition
  • Improve customer satisfaction degree.
  • Meet and exceed your sales goals through prospecting, qualifying, managing, closing new sales opportunities and leading contract negotiations
  • Identify, prioritize, and track progress towards key account metrics and annual quota.
  • Partner with customer success, solutions and business development teams to drive sales results
  • Achieve and communicate weekly and monthly commitment targets to senior leadership. Metrics to forecast include:
  • App download per day/week/month
  • Daily transaction counts/volume
  • Connection % per week Meetings booked per week
  • Actively interact with consumers in the shop and regular customers.
  • Negotiate / close deals, handle complaints and aftersales issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve results.
  • Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams.
  • Market / product knowledge and provide information to help brand edge over competitors.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs
  • Drive revenue through corporate/SME sales and partnerships
  • Number of sales per month

Key Responsibilities

  • Increase the number of active Merchants: Merchant Acquisition and Onboarding etc
  • Market research on B2C businesses that fit the set target audience.
  • Deploying brand assets to the store, training the merchant on device financing.
  • Work closely with relevant teams to maintain great service to merchants and optimize relationships.
  • Report & present results regularly to relevant stakeholders.
  • Proactively generate leads, manage acquisition pipeline and onboarding to achieve goals on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Build and maintain profitable professional relationships with merchants.

Requirements

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree, HND / Master's Degree
  • Must have at least 3 year’s experience working as Business Development Specialist Or Corporate Sales Executive for a Financial Institution.
  • Consistent over achievement of sales quota; and experience working with enterprise experience
  • Strategic and creative thinking that enables you to understand industry and customer trends and apply those insights to deliver business results.
  • Good enterprise cabal and robust network.
  • Experience with cold outreach or any outbound activity (LinkedIn messaging, emails, cold calls, outside/in-person selling) and use of technology tools such as Zoom, Teams, G-suite, Office365, CRM, sales force etc
