Job Title: Associate - Corporate Commercial Group
Location: Lagos
Job Description
The successful Candidate will:
- Critically examine the growth of information technology in the new age and determine its place in business, law practice and related areas with a view to identifying the opportunities it presents to the firm;
- Develop products and generate transactions within the Finance, Oil and Gas, and Real Estate amongst existing and prospective target clients.
- Negotiate contracts, ensure financial success and monitor quality of service delivery on all client transactions.
- Develop products and generate both IP and IT related transactions within the various industries including existing and prospective target clients.
- Understand the client’s business and maintain continuous engagement with key executive stakeholders within target client organizations.
- Work in concert with the Team to achieve Unit objectives and deliverables.
- Shall perform all other duties as shall be advised by Head of Unit/Partner.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2:1 from an accredited University and from the Nigerian Law School
- LL.M with specialisation in commercial law, oil and gas or taxation will be an added advantage
- A minimum of 5 years’ and maximum of 7 years’ commercial practice experience
- In depth industry knowledge in IT, Finance, oil and gas, real estate and Legal regulatory and compliance experience
- Excellent negotiation, team building and presentation skills
- Must possess excellent legal drafting and document review skills
- Excellent communication (both written and oral), interpersonal, negotiation and organizational skills
Job Title: Associate - Litigation
Location: Lagos
Job Description
The successful Candidate will:
- Prepare court processes
- Draft legal documents including legal opinions, company searches, briefs of argument
- Process and prepare legal advice and legal agreements
- Draft and review Legal documents and Agreements
- Represent Client at the lower & appellate courts (within & outside Lagos)
- Keep abreast of regulations, legislations, government policies and other developments that may affect the operations, business goals and objectives of the firm
- Be required to stay updated with information related to the laws and legal processes
- Negotiate contracts, ensure financial success and monitor quality of service delivery on all client cases and transactions.
- Understand the client’s business and maintain continuous engagement with key executive stakeholders within target client organizations.
- Work in concert with the team to achieve Unit objectives and deliverables.
- Shall perform all other duties as shall be advised by Head of Unit/Partner
Requirements
- A minimum of 2:1 from an accredited University and from the Nigerian Law School
- LL.M Degree will be an added advantage

Job Title: Senior Associate - Corporate Commercial Group
Location: Lagos
Job Description
The successful Candidate will:
- Initiate and effectively coordinate and facilitate Corporate Commercial transactions
- Critically examine the growth of information technology in the new age and determine its place in business, law practice and related areas with a view to identifying the opportunities it presents to the firm;
- Develop products and generate transactions within the Finance, Oil and Gas, and Real Estate amongst existing and prospective target clients.
- Negotiate contracts, ensure financial success and monitor quality of service delivery on all client transactions.

- Assist the Partner in charge of Corporate and Commercial Group to ensure financial success of the Unit and monitor quality of service delivery on all client transactions.
- Provide quarterly reports/updates on successful Client’s transaction revenue to the Management Team when required.
- Understand client business and maintain continuous engagement with key executive stakeholders within target client organizations.
- Coordinate and actively lead all business development efforts and initiatives towards growth in this Unit.
- Work in concert with the Management Team to achieve Unit objectives and deliverables.
- Report directly to the Partner and Group Head of the CCG and shall perform all other duties as shall be advised by same.
Requirements

Job Title: Head, Business Services and Advisory
Location: Lagos
Job Description
The successful Candidate will:
- Design the Firms Business Development Strategy and ensure alignment of strategy and business goals whilst also developing and executing business Development Plans for the Firm;
- Responsible for coordinating the identification and evaluation of new markets, identifying business opportunities and prospecting for new Clients in order to improve the firms market position and achieve financial growth
- Develop and explore various business strategies and opportunities for growth
- Coordinate and actively lead all business development efforts and initiatives and act as the Executive Relationship Manager to existing and prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts, ensure financial success and monitor quality of service delivery on all business transactions.
- Provide weekly/quarterly reports/updates on successful briefs and contracts to the Head of Chamber/Managing partner when required.
- Maintain continuous engagement with key executive stakeholders within target organizations.
- Work in concert with the Management Team and/or Partners to achieve the Firms objectives and corporate goals.
Requirements
- A Minimum – BSc in Social Sciences or related course
- A relevant master’s degree or professional qualifications (ICAN, ACCA or CFA) will be an added advantage
- Minimum of 7 - 10 years post NYSC experience with exposure in financial reporting, financial modeling, business development, relationship management, financial advisory, investment banking
- Proven excellent track record of achievement in this role or similar role in a dynamic corporate environment
- Ability to build and nurture strategic business relationships
- Ability to provide business acumen, energy and vision to the Firm
- Ability to conduct high level competitor analysis and benchmarking
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office suite.
