Job Title: Business Development Manager - Oil & Gas Sector

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Account Management & Growth: Build, maintain, and nurture strong relationships with key accounts within the Oil & Gas sector to ensure long-term engagement and business growth.
  • Sales Strategy Execution: Drive the execution of sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets, contributing to the company’s overall growth goals.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams (Operations, Marketing, and Clinical Services) to ensure seamless service delivery and address any operational challenges.
  • Market Research & Insight: Analyze industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector.
  • Reporting: Provide regular reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and client feedback to the management team.
  • Client Retention & Relationship Building: Foster long-term client relationships, ensuring customer loyalty and increasing client retention.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring timely communication and addressing client needs efficiently.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead contract negotiations with key clients, ensuring that terms meet both client expectations and company objectives.
  • Client Satisfaction: Monitor client satisfaction levels and address concerns promptly, ensuring the delivery of quality healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the Oil & Gas sector or healthcare services.
  • Sales Skills: Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and contract management skills with the ability to close deals successfully.
  • Education: A degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA or other professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Oil & Gas sector and its dynamics, particularly in the context of occupational health and healthcare services.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
  • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze market trends, client feedback, and data to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.
