Human trafficking is caused by various factors some of which include;  Poverty, domestic turbulence, political unrest, natural disasters and more . Human trafficking is putting or keeping someone in an exploitative situation for profit. They are not free and they are exploited for profit over and over again. It is a serious crime.

Ways of Preventing Drug Trafficking

• Job creation and employment of the youth.
• Adequate enlightenment of the citizens about drug trafficking and its consequences.
• Appropriate sanctioning for drug traffickers.
• Authorities such as The police, immigration department and the national drug law enforcement agency
• Poverty eradication measures must be properly put in place.
