Production Planner Requirements, Skills & Qualifications

The following common skills and qualifications are required of a Production Planner:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field is preferred.
Proven experience as production planner
Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles
Experience in MRP II (Manufacturing resource planning)
Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems
Excellent communication abilities
Good at math and statistics
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
