  • The Global Health Supply Chain Program - Procurement and Supply Management project (GHSC-PSM) works to support the USAID’s Office of Maternal, Newborn and Child Health and Nutrition of increasing access to quality, life-saving MNCH commodities thereby saving lives and improving the health of women, children, and newborns.
  • The Drug Revolving Fund Project has been commissioned by the USAID GHSC-PSM to develop tailor-made approaches to strengthening existing DRF systems in Sokoto, Kebbi and Bauchi states.
  • In addition to the core project team, USAID GHSC-PSM seeks qualified individuals to serve on an advisory panel to provide technical expert support.
Postion Summary
  • 4-5 local Drug Revolving Fund experts who will provide targeted support to the DRF project on a part-time basis
  • The panel will meet multiple times a year at specific phase-gates to review and refine project approach
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
  • To help assess the feasibility of the project approach and methodology, and provide inputs as necessary
  • To provide expert feedback and suggestions on project implementation
  • To support the refinement and streamlining of project deliverables
  • To occasionally support some project activities such as national and state-level stakeholder engagement as may be required
Essential Knowledge and Competencies
  • Significant experience in establishing DRF schemes OR significant experience in operating, managing and evaluating DRF schemes in Nigeria or other Sub-Saharan African countries
  • Experience with DRF in Northern Nigeria is an added advantage
Performance Matrics:
  • Presence and participation during the phase-gate touch-points
  • Significant individual contributions to the refinement of project approach, methodology and deliverable
