Quantum Edge Informatics Is a reputable IT Company. We are seeking to recruit suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below:     Job Title: Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Location: Lagos Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for top to bottom implementation of turnkey project solutions.
  • Management of full technical scope of the projects.
  • Providing technical solutions for implementation and delivery of telecom and power solutions projects.
  • Responsible for installation, design and after sales of the solutions.
  • Managing customer and client relations and expanding existing business.
  • Reporting directly to COO.
  • Responsible for the work of regional managers and their teams.
  • Coordination, planning and development and maintenance of cellular network, ensuring adequate coverage to guarantee excellent network availability.
  • Diagnose operational and technical issues, plan and develop technical policies and business plans to achieve SLAs.
  • Providing leadership to the Operations and Maintenance department.
  • Defining and implementation of strategies to manage network performances.
  • Development of network infrastructure and operations strategy.
  • Oversight and management of network CAPEX and OPEX.
  • Management of IPI infrastructure Rollout Strategy and Product lifecycle management.
  • Oversight accountability and management of active and passive infrastructure Managed Services.
  • Responsible for adherence to contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Network Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
  • Creating an environment for end to end operational efficiency, ensuring that best operational practices are achieved through diligent contract and vendor partnership management.
  • Management of Operational Governance model with partners as stipulated in the contractual agreement.
  • Staff mentoring, coaching and appraisals.
  • Relationship management with IPI Business partners.
  • Involved in IPI Corporate Governance.
Qualifications:
  • 20 years of experience with project management in telecommunications industry preferably in field operations or support capacity.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in providing full turnkey solutions for the rollout, SWAP and power systems projects.
  • Excellent technical background preferably working with fixed and mobile networks infrastructure (antennas, towers, etc.).
  • Technical planning skills with an understanding of financial aspects relating to the technical aspects that are specific to a telecommunications operator.
  • Experience with management, implementation and design of large number of sites (e.g. 1500 - 2000 sites).
  • Experienced in solutions management, any additional project management certification is a great asset (e.g. Prince2, ITIL, PMP).
  • Prefered previous experience working in the following business environment: Africa (Nigeria), EMEA, SE Asia.
  • Has strong proven experience working both on operator and vendor side.
  • Capability of business and market development by providing innovative solutions.
  • Experience in direct and indirect management of large number of personnel.
  • Excellent skills in client and customer interfacing with main focus on negotiation skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
