Responsibilities:
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Delivering consistently excellent customer service to your clients, from the first service request of the day to the last one of the day.
- Managing client’s technical requests.
- Following-up on outstanding requests and ensure your client is happy with the resolution.
- Supporting clients on-site or remotely; Traveling to client sites throughout the day is required.
- Working with advanced engineers to troubleshoot more complex client problems.
- Assisting with in-house projects to keep improving our network and processes.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge base by documenting all issue resolutions; Creating tip sheets and IT training documents.
- Configuring and troubleshooting.
- Deploying new equipment.
Skills and requirements:
- This position does require the flexibility to work an 8 hour shift between the hours of 7 am - 7 pm as well as assisting with scheduled after hours work.
- Exceptional customer service skills, and a positive "can-do" attitude
- Communicate troubleshooting clearly to both technical and non-technical parties (required)
- Network support experience (VPN, WAN, LAN)
- Expert Googler! (required)
- Experience with common network infrastructure protocols such as DNS, DHCP, FTP, SSH
- Demonstrated ability to apply TCP/IP and switching/routing concepts to solve complex network problems
- Solid troubleshooting experience with the ability to handle different technical concerns of the customers
- Multi-tasking capabilities; Able to manage resource issues and multiple priorities with little or no direction
- Must be self-motivated and highly organized
- Must be able to work autonomously and as a team member
- Ability to exercise judgment and make sound decisions under pressure
- Good communication skills- both oral and written; Effective listening skills
Preferred experiences:
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365 and MS Office
- Familiarity with locating and using Microsoft KB and TechNet resources
- PC and server hardware troubleshooting
- Windows desktop troubleshooting skills (understanding the Windows registry, user profile troubleshooting)
