Vacancy For Foundry Supervisor at Nigerian Foundries Limited

Nigerian Foundries Limited (NFL) is the leading ferrous foundry group in sub-sahara (excluding South Africa) with a total installed capacity of 8,500 metric tons per year. It has two plants, one in Ilupeju Lagos State and one at Sango-Otta, Ogun State. NFL started as a small grey iron foundry at Ilupeju in 1969 by the Barberopoulos brothers making municipal castings and water pipeline fittings. We are recruiting to fill the position below:     Job Title: Foundry Supervisor Location: Ogun Job Descriptions

• Examines materials and product at various stage of processing for conformance to specification and take corrective action on non-conformances.
• Responsible for discussing identified problems with the foundry manager and implement agreed solutions and also make recommendations to the foundry manager concerning quality improvement of the section.
• Responsible supervising, cordinating and assigning production process activities to workers engaged in core making,sand preparation,hand and machine moulding,grinding and short blasting casting.
• Responsible for the entire foundry section,liases with maintenance section on status/condition of plant and equipment for repair or preventive maintenance.

• HND/B.SC/B.ENG in Engineering or equivalent.
• Work Experience: 3 Years
• Basic knowledge of Engineering drawings and foundry practices,Basic Computer knowledge and Synchro ERP.
