Honeywell is a conglomerate founded by Oba Otudeko. It has a flour mill which is located in Sagamu, Ogun State. They produce wheat and non-wheat based products. They are into the production of flour, wheat meal, semolina, pasta and noodles.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Manufacturing Excellence Officer

Job Summary

• To facilitate and coordinate Manufacturing Excellence standards, results and capability building across group with plans to achieve world class manufacturing excellence through partnership with key stakeholders across key business units within the group. 

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and Train plant team on continuous improvement tools - waste elimination, Loss cost metrics/ VSM mapping to identify cost saving initiatives annually for the BU.   
• Drive improvement in Maintenance & Reliability system through active participation in MRSIP program deployment via coordination of Bootcamp trainings as well as weekly Maintenance planning meeting.  
• Support group maintenance and reliability by documenting policies on maintenance work management, tools management, lubrication management, MRO stores and associated SOPs. 
• Facilitate weekly waste reduction performance dialogue with support from Finance to review and improve BU performance to achieve targeted waste reduction initiatives.   
• Drive and lead improvement project for the group to deliver committed Savings and capability development.  

Requirements

• B.Sc./HND in Engineering   
• Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence  
• Minimum of 3 years' cognate experience.  
• Have ability to follow logical reasoning sequence. 
• Have ability to develop learning solutions.  
• Be a good listener 
• Have the ability to build solid relationships. 
• Have good communication skills.
• Proficient use of Power Bi/Microsoft Dynamics Ax 365 will be an added advantage. 
• Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.  
• Have critical thinking skills.
