Job Title: Personal Assistant

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Job Type: Full-time
Reporting to: MD/CEO

Job Description

  • Responsible for providing effective, efficient, and comprehensive support to the CEO and managing the day-to-day activities of the CEO’s office operations.

Role Overview

  • This role is the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the Managing Director.

Other:

  • The post holder will be a part of the Leadership Team

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide sophisticated calendar management for the CEO
  • Complete a broad variety of administrative tasks that facilitate the CEO’s ability to effectively lead the organization, including producing complex documents, reports, and presentations; collecting and preparing information for meetings with staff and outside parties
  • To draft speeches, articles, briefings, and project proposals as requested by the CEO
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external constituencies on all matters pertaining to the CEO, including those of a highly confidential or critical nature.
  • Prioritize and determine the appropriate course of action, referral, or response, exercising judgment to reflect the CEO’s style and organizational policy
  • Ensuring all meeting papers for the CEO are received and available in good time to allow the necessary briefing and sourcing of further information if required
  • Identify and make all travel arrangements well in advance for the CEO for official assignments
  • Facilitate the flow of emails and telephone communications
  • Take minutes of meetings for the CEO as required
  • Follow up to ensure scheduled meetings take place and prioritize meetings to ensure there are no double bookings/conflict in appointments given
  • Coordinate and expedite follow-up work as may be required i.e. record and circulate tasks to the Leadership Team
  • Where required/instructed, check the CEO’s emails to ensure information is communicated timeously
  • Ensure efficiency in the office of CEO and oversee aesthetics and cleanliness.

 

 

Job Title: Legal Officer / Manager

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Job Type: Full-time
Reporting to: The Company Secretary
Responsible for: Directly managing the Legal Assistant

Role Overview

  • Assist the Company Secretary/ Head of Legal in handling the various legal aspects of the company ensuring that legal procedures are followed and that operations are within legal regulations

Other:

  • The post holder will be a part of the Leadership Team

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Company in monitoring the legal risk in real estate documentation and advise accordingly.
  • Ensuring documentation of all legal documents of the company in order to maintain confidentiality
  • Reading and understanding various company contracts and deals and deciphering the legal jargon
  • Draft and solidify agreements, contracts, and other legal documents as assigned by the Company Secretary/ Head of Legal to ensure the company’s full legal rights
  • Holding watching briefs in court in matters relating to the Company and reporting thereon
  • Preparing briefs for the Company when necessary
  • Give advice on payment of professional fees
  • Assist the Company Secretary/ Head of Legal in preparing draft letters of approval on behalf of the Company in respect of legal matters
  • Compilation and management of the list of cases and list of properties for the Company
  • Monitoring the dates in court and circulating them to the Company Secretary/ Head of Legal and the witnesses
  • Liaising with statutory bodies (eg Corporate Affairs Commission, Lands Registry, and Federal Inland Revenue Services) on matters affecting the Company
  • Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for the Company's transactions
  • Ensuring that all the Company property titles, licenses, agreements, etc are valid and ensuring that legal contracts are renewed before it lapses.
  • Handle complaints, settle disputes, Resolve Conflicts, grievances and negotiate with Clients as the case may be.
  • Any other duty that may be assigned by the Company through the Company Secretary/ Head of Legal or the Human Resources Departments as the case may be.

 

 

Job Title: Property Manager

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Job Type: Full-time
Reporting to Controller of Estates Department
Responsible for Directly managing: Designated Property/Properties

Role Overview

  • Responsible for the overall management of the commercial, residential, and industrial properties assigned to him/her, maximizing asset value, customer satisfaction, and revenue.

Other:

  • The post holder will be a part of the Technical arm of the Business Development Department

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing tenants on the assigned property/properties by investigating and resolving tenant complaints, enforcing rules of occupancy, inspecting vacant units
  • Informs the Head of Department on the need for repairs, renovations, and following up to ensure that these are achieved
  • Maintain a positive, productive relationship with tenants
  • Oversee properties’ personnel and assess its performance
  • Inspect the property for damages or maintenance requirements; schedule maintenance improvements
  • Accomplishes financial objectives by collecting and remitting tenants’ rents in line with Company’s process and procedure
  • Managing the Service Charge Accounts in line with Company’s process and procedure
  • Establishes quarterly rental rates by surveying local rental rates around and advising the Head of the Department promptly.
  • Enforces occupancy policies and procedures by confronting violators.
  • Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Dealing with the evictions of tenants who do not pay rent or otherwise breach the terms of a lease when instructed to do so.
  • Source and build relationships with prospective clients to expand business opportunities
  • Document expenses, invoices, receipts, and warranties.

 

 

Job Title: Architect

Location: Lagos Island, Lagos
Job Type: Full-time
Reporting to: Controller Business /Project Development

Role Overview

  • Provide technical advice and supervision on the planning, designing, developing, constructing, and maintenance of building structures and infrastructures.

Other:

  • The post holder will be a part of the technical arm of the Business Development Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out technical and feasibility studies and draw up blueprints that satisfy technical specifications meeting legal, health, and safety standards and other regulatory laws on all projects.
  • Ensure that all materials used and work performed on-site are in accordance with the specifications
  • Check, monitor, and interpret contract designs, plans, drawings, and quantities of documents supplied by clients or architects for accuracy of calculations, etc.
  • Working closely with a team of other professionals during project management
  • Conduct day to day management of site work and site investigations including supervising and monitoring site labor force and contractors; and analyze data (maps, reports, tests, drawings, and others)
  • Be part of the team that will review and approve contractor pay requests making sure the project complies with legal requirements, especially health and safety.
  •  Provide advice and resolve creatively any emerging problems/deficiencies on designs and construction
  • Ensure that government approvals planning permissions are secured for the Organisation
  • Assessing and reporting potential risks, materials, and costs on constructions.
  • Monitor progress and compile periodic reports on all project status and submit such the Head of Department staff belongs.
  • Ensuring projects run smoothly and structures are completed within budget and on time
  • Liaising with the quantity surveyor about the ordering and negotiation of the prices of materials.
  • Review Contractor's and Subcontractor’s drawings to ensure compliance with specifications and contract agreements by checking them for technical accuracy according to accepted and agreed-on guidelines.
