US-based Nonprofit Organization recruitment for Field Volunteers
New Incentives is a US-based nonprofit committed
to implementing health-related cash transfer programs to save lives in
developing countries.
Operating in Nigeria, New Incentives gives pregnant
women with at-risk pregnancies conditional cash transfers, which encourage
them to follow medical advice and treatment so that their children are born
healthy.
New Incentives is the world’s first and only nonprofit
dedicated to Conditional Cash Transfers (CCTs). CCTs are small,
predictable sums of money that individuals in need can earn after
meeting various education and health benchmarks such as school
attendance or clinic visits. In the case of New Incentives, your
donation gives poor women with HIV or at-risk pregnancies in rural West
Africa small stipends on the condition that they deliver at a health
clinic and get required medications. The stipends allow the women to
afford food, transport and other basic services. Hence, the CCTs not
only prevent mother-to-child transmission of HIV and neonatal mortality
but also help to fight poverty. The stipends further strengthen the
position of the mother and newborn in a family setting. Their health is
no longer seen as a luxury but a smart investment.
Job Title: Field Volunteer

expand its team dedicated to preventing mother-to-child transmission of
