With our in-depth knowledge of African culture and diversity within the continent, Nairagram has been able to grow its payment network across 15 countries offering the following services: Cash pickup, Bank Deposit and Mobile Wallet.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Treasury Analyst

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the organization’s bank relationship and liquidity
• Bank accounts opening and manage the accounts with the team
• Daily cash management
• Interface with subsidiaries globally on funding requirements and cash transfers
• Support the payment processes where necessary
• Debts facilities management if required
• Analyze various scenarios and risks and propose the best solutions
• Support the month end process where appropriate
• Managing platform accounts and establishing workflow in relation to business operation
• Managing foreign currency exposure and foreign currency payments
• Foreign exchange risk management and development of foreign exchange risk mitigation strategies
• Forecasting of medium and long-term funding requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance / Economic / Business Administration is a must
• 3 to 5 years of experience at treasury positions or in payment companies/banks
• Appropriate handling of sensitive information
• Intermediate to advanced computer software skills, including excel and other accounting packages
• Should possess strong initiative and good interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact at various levels within the organization as well as with external counterparties.
• Good knowledge of banking relationships and covenants
• Understanding and experience of treasury accounting including FX, liquidity, cashflow and various financial instruments
