We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Training Coordinator

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Training Program Development and Coordination:

  • Plan, schedule, and organize training sessions (in-person and virtual).
  • Collaborate with department heads to identify training needs and objectives.
  • Research and recommend training materials, tools, and methodologies.

Logistics Management

  • Coordinate with trainers, facilitators, and external vendors.
  • Arrange venues, equipment, and materials for training sessions.
  • Manage participant registrations and attendance.

Record-Keeping and Reporting:

  • Maintain detailed records of training activities, attendance, and outcomes.
  • Generate reports on training metrics and effectiveness.
  • Monitor and track training budgets.

Compliance and Standards:

  • Ensure all training programs comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
  • Keep up-to-date with relevant certifications, regulations, and best practices.

Support and Feedback:

  • Provide support to trainers and participants during sessions.
  • Gather feedback from participants and trainers to improve future sessions.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in training coordination, HR, or a related role.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and MS Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Training and Development (e.g., CPTD, ATD).
  • Experience with e-learning platforms and tools.
