The Bible Society of Nigeria (BSN) is a member of the United Bible Societies (UBS) a global fellowship of Non-Denominational Christian organization operating in over 240 countries and territories to make sure that everyone who wants to can access and engage with the Bible. Its primary mission involves Bible translation, production and distribution, advocacy, engagement and raising funds to execute these activities.

To continue to fulfill its mission and mandate, we are recruiting seIf-motivated, experienced, and qualified Christian professionals from different work spheres to fill the vacant position below:

Job Title: Territorial Distribution Officer

Locations: South East & North Central

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for distribution activities at the assigned location.
• Responsible for expanding the customer base by developing new customers and channels of distribution.
• Good Inventory management of the Society’s scripture stock nationwide.
• Product and market development through creativity and innovation.
• Planning, forecasting, and implementation of marketing programmes in a way that facilitates distribution and creates warehouse space.
• Ensuring broad customer base and sound Customer relationship management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years marketing, distribution, or business development experience in a structured environment.
• First Degree or HND in Marketing, Distribution, Business Administration or other relevant disciplines.
• Professional certification from a recognized body will be an added advantage.

Personnel Specification(s):

• Working knowledge of Sage 50 application.
• Good knowledge of Nigerian Bible market diversity.
• Excellent flair for figures and product codes.
• Strong analytical skills to be able to analyze and interpret distribution data and trends.
