Job Description

  • We are looking for highly motivated Manager with strong environmental, social and governance credentials, which include theoretical and practical experience.
  • They must also be commercially aware and able to identify ESG risks and value creation opportunities for clients. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Creating and delivering ESG strategies and sustainability programmes for clients, including policy, procedures, and monitoring.
  • Build and manage relationships with key external clients, including fund and asset managers, executive teams and sustainability functions that result in business growth.
  • Proven project management experience from proposal stage to completion to include establishing scopes and project budgets, client communications, managing deliverables, and coordinating project teams.
  • Provide key research, analysis, and advisory insight and support to the consultancy team and wider business.

Qualifications and Work Experience

  • Master of Science Degree in Environmental or Social Sciences or related field required.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • 5-8 years minimum experience in ESG
  • Extensive experience developing ESMS on both a fund and PC level
  • Experience working with UNPRI, TCFD, SFDR and other frameworks
  • Experience working in Finance sector with Private Equity, DFI’s etc to understand their requirements
  • Extensive experience working with IFC Performance Standards, World Bank EHS Guidelines, Equator Principles, ILO and other relevant international standards and guidelines
  • Extensive experience conducting ESG Due Diligences of Category A and B investments across a number of sectors both in developed and emerging markets
