Store Manager at Metwest Steel Limited

Metwest Steel Limited is a well established manufacturing and trading company. We have merged as a manufacturing distributor of premium steel and non-ferrous products in west Africa. Our products portfolio includes steel billets, rebars, sections, wires, fasteners as well as aluminium, copper and lead ingots and more. We are a fully integrated scrap based manufacturing unit located in Asaba, Delta State.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Store Manager

Location: Kwale, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Controlling inventory to ensure sufficient stock, daily and weekly counts
• Inform in an immediate basis the Site Manager when material requested is no more available
• Protect all delivered goods on Site in order to avoid any damage and ensure the loading/ unloading of all materials up until their final location (could be done in coordination with our subcontractors
• Ensure the Security of the store and other materials which are not able to be stored there.
• Managing loss prevention through security requirements and monitoring strategies, auditing paperwork and inventory levels and appropriately handling broken or damaged merchandise
• Ensure that the store is free from pilferage.
• Check all materials when they arrive on Site and immediately implement these new items in the Stock list
• Prepare the check out voucher following the request for materials which have been approved by the Site Manager

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor' Degree qualification with 5 - 10 years work experience.

Salary
N100,000 - N120,000 / month.
