Job Summary

• We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Store Keeper to join our dynamic team.
• As a Site Store Keeper, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of materials, equipment, and supplies at our construction sites.
• Your meticulous attention to inventory, excellent organizational skills, and collaborative nature will contribute to the success of our projects.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming materials, supplies, and equipment, conducting thorough inspections for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and various departments to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability.
• Prepare comprehensive reports on inventory status, consumption rates, and procurement needs for management review.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and regulations when handling hazardous materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in inventory management practices.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, tracking item codes, descriptions, quantities, and delivery dates.
• Organize and optimize the layout of the site store area for easy access and safety.
• Issue materials and equipment to authorized personnel while accurately documenting all transactions.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate reordering to prevent shortages, collaborating with procurement when necessary.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and implement corrective measures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an OND or equivalent; additional education in inventory management or related field is a plus.
• Familiarity with safety regulations related to storing materials, particularly hazardous ones.
• Problem-solving aptitude to address inventory discrepancies and resolve issues.
• Ability to work independently while also functioning as a collaborative team player.
• Proven experience as a Store Keeper or in a similar inventory management role within the construction sector.
• Proficiency in inventory management software or tools is preferred.
• Exceptional organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
• Physical stamina for lifting and moving heavy objects as required.
