Job Title: Senior Facilities Coordinator

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Develop and implement strategic plans for facility operations and maintenance.
  • Create and manage annual budgets for facilities management, ensuring cost-effective operations.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of all facilities, ensuring they are well-maintained and functioning efficiently.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and contractors, ensuring high-quality service delivery.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements, monitoring compliance and performance.
  • Ensure all facilities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Implement and monitor safety protocols and emergency procedures.
  • Prepare and manage budgets for facility operations, maintenance, and projects.
  • Monitor expenses and optimize costs without compromising quality.
  • Plan and oversee facility-related projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
  • Identify opportunities for improving facility operations and implementing innovative solutions.
  • Develop and implement crisis management plans to ensure business continuity during emergencies.
  • Lead the response to facility-related emergencies, coordinating with relevant authorities and stakeholders.
  • Utilize technology and software tools to streamline facility management operations.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to extend the life of equipment and facilities.
  • Schedule and oversee regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for facility-related issues, addressing and resolving concerns promptly.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction among internal and external clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance activities, and project progress.
  • Prepare regular reports for senior management, highlighting key metrics and performance indicators.
  • Coordinate and supervise maintenance, repairs, and renovations of facilities and equipment.
  • Lead and manage a team of facilities staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • CFM, IFMA Facility management professional certification
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in facilities management, with at least 3-5 years in a senior management role.

Salary
N500,000 Monthly.
