Job Title: Sales Representative

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • The Sales Representative is responsible for growing market share and revenue with assigned accounts.
  • The Sales Representative is also responsible for establishing and building relationships with assigned customers.
  • This person promotes the sale of SLB products and services to assigned accounts, utilizing technical expertise to match customer need with applicable solution.
  • The Sales Representative optimizes sales opportunities through in-depth knowledge of client activities and plans and communicates customer activity and sales opportunities through effective use of sales business systems/processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle the preparation and submission of tenders, proposals, and quotes.
  • Efficiently utilize the company's business systems and processes for sales activities and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with management to formulate a comprehensive sales plan.
  • Monitor and follow up on invoice payments.
  • Drive the expansion of market share and revenue in Nigeria and West Africa for Solid Control and waste management services.
  • Be flexible in terms of time and available for travel.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with assigned customers, promoting services and new technologies, with a preference for candidates with field background experience.
  • Gather market intelligence on client and competitor activities and monitor market share.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering field of study (Mechanical, Petroleum, Electrical, Chemical, etc.)
  • Possess 3 to 5 years of sales experience in Solid Control and waste management services in Nigeria.
