Geoscape Limited (an Oil and Gas servicing company) wishes to advertise vacancy for the position of a Sales Engineer. The required qualification and skill set are as stated below.


Job Title:  Sales Engineer

 
Sales Engineer with  2 -5 years’ work experience. Candidate must have cognate  experience in the Oil and Gas industry. Qualification should be a minimum of B.Sc/HND  in any Engineering (preferably Mechanical Engineering) discipline and from a recognized tertiary Institution

Key Responsibilities:
  • Search for new clients who require Engineering products such as Valves, Pumps etc
  • Establish new business relationships, and maintain existing relationship with clients
  • Coordinate sales projects
  • Support marketing/business development functions by attending trade shows, conferences and other marketing events
  • Making technical presentations and demonstrating how a product will meet client’s needs
  • Providing pre-sales technical assistance and product education
  • Liaise with other members of the sales team and other technical experts
  • Resolve clients’ service related issues.
  • Managing and interpreting clients requirements
  • Negotiate and close sales by agreeing terms and conditions
  • Offer after-sales support services
  • Prepare reports for Head Office
  • Meeting assigned sales targets
  • Keep records of and maintain clients contact data
Line Reporting and Functional Linkage
Head, Contracts and Assets with dotted line reporting to Head, Operations and handshake with Head, Procurement.
