Job Title: Sales and Marketing Officer

Location: Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
Sales Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve business objectives and revenue targets in the shipping sector.
  • Identify new market opportunities within import, export, haulage, and transport services, devising effective penetration strategies.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to inform strategic decisions.

Sales Execution and Customer Engagement:

  • Lead sales efforts to generate and close deals, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure long-term business relationships.

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and KPIs to track progress towards objectives.
  • Prepare regular sales and marketing reports for management review.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve overall performance.

Team Collaboration and Leadership:

  • Work collaboratively with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless execution of sales and marketing strategies.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the sales team, fostering a high-performance culture.

Marketing and Brand Management:

  • Lead marketing initiatives to enhance brand visibility and market presence for shipping services.
  • Conduct market research to analyze customer needs, industry trends, and competitor activities.
  • Develop marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition and retention.

Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through partnerships and collaborations in the logistics and shipping sector.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to integrate business development initiatives and optimize service offerings.

Requirements

  • Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields with 2 - 7 years work experience.

Salary
N100,000 - N200,000 monthly.
