Due to an increasing workload and the expansion of our onshore activities in Nigeria, we are seeking for highly qualified, pro-active, fast-learning, well organized and motivated Contact Administrators to reinforce our team.


JOB TITLE: Contract Administrator (SCNL CTRAD-011)
As a Contract Administrator you will be based in Port Harcourt and/or other Project Sites. Your responsibilities will involve, amongst others;
Ensuring that any contractual and legal matter affecting Project are properly addressed
Ensuring that the corporate policies and guidelines together with all the legal obligations are implemented and respected by the Project
Providing input to risk identification and assessment in coordination with the Risk and Opportunity
Management, drafting and negotiation of the change order/variation and preparation of any claims against or from the Client, partners and any subcontractors or vendors
Monitoring key contract dates to ensure all contract terms are applied timely and correctly
Supporting the finance department function by assuring that all the relevant documents required for payment meet contractual obligations
Drafting, receiving, examining, commenting, filing and keeping track of all correspondence exchanged during the project execution


Management Function
Providing information and advice to other departments or assisting in the operational management

Academic/Educational Requirements for job vacancy
A Degree in Law or Quantity Survey is a prerequisite. Engineers with relevant experience can apply as well

Required Skills/Experience for Vacancy
Excellent communicating skills (verbally as well as in writing)
Adequate problem solving and decision making skills
Ability to think outside the box
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications
Minimum of 4 years of experience in a contract administration environment
 Ability to handle stressful situations efficiently and effectively, while respecting the deadlines imposed on the Project
