Job Title: Risk Management Manager

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities
Risk Identification & Assessment:

  • Identify and evaluate financial, operational, strategic, and compliance risks.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop risk mitigation strategies.
  • Analyze historical data and trends to anticipate future risks.

Crisis Management & Response:

  • Develop and execute business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
  • Provide guidance on handling risk-related incidents.

Collaboration & Advisory:

  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate risk management into business strategies.
  • Advise leadership on risk-related matters and recommend solutions.
  • Train employees on risk awareness and management practices.

Risk Mitigation & Control:

  • Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures.
  • Work with various departments to mitigate identified risks.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and oversee internal controls and risk management frameworks.

Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Maintain documentation related to risk assessments, audits, and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and legal regulations.

Requirements
Educational Qualifications & Experience:

  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Must have 8 years of experience in risk management, compliance, finance, or a related area.
  • Professional certificationsa plus.

Key Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in risk management software and tools
  • Excellent knowledge of risk management frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
