B.Adedipe Associate Limited (“BAA Consult”, for short) was incorporated in February 1993, as General Management and Financial Consultants, and commenced operations in March 1994. The company has built on the professional experience of its Chief Consultant (Dr. ‘Biodun Adedipe) and his complementary relationships, and in the course of time it has developed a reputation for excellent delivery in all four of its business platforms – Strategy, Training, Human Capital Services and Research.
We are recruiting to fill the positions of:   Job Title: Research Economist (Analyst) Location: Lagos
Job Objective
  • To scan the business environment, draft reports and market research services.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Forecast trends or patterns that could guide future business decisions.
  • Formulate recommendations, policies or plans to solve client problems.
  • Facilitate / Coordinate training session specific to Research and Economic programs and other training
  • Lead projects assigned by the Chief Consultant.
  • Handle all Research assignment for the company
  • Collect and process economic and statistical data.
  • Compile, analyse, and report data, applying models and statistical techniques to explain economic phenomena.
Job Requirements
  • He/she must be detailed and result-oriented and demonstrate a positive attitude and a high level of enthusiasm for the role and field.
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contemporary data management software
  • Not more than 30 years.
  • B.Sc. in Economics, Accounting, Social Sciences or other related fields (minimum of 2:1); professional qualifications will be added advantage
  • 4 - 6 years working experience in Research or Economist role. (Research Economist Consultant experience will be added advantage
  • He/she must be able to conduct detailed research and analysis that result in constructive findings.
     
Job Title: Accountant Location: Lagos
Job Objective
  • To ensure prompt and accurate accounting documentations and reporting that will support the firm’s strategic objectives.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Reconcile accounts with the general ledger.
  • Check invoices for inaccuracies.
  • Follow up payments for transactions.
  • Prepare all financial reports and statutory accounts.
  • Handle accounts payables and receivables.
  • Manage petty cash transactions.
  • Ensure all payments amounts & records are accurate.
Job Requirements
  • Excellent knowledge of Accounting Software (Peachtree, SAGE) required
  • Good team player with excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and contemporary data management software
  • Not more than 30 years.
  • B.Sc / HND in Accounting or related fields (minimum of 2:1 /Upper Credit)
  • 3-5 years work experience
  • Good knowledge of financial regulations, including taxation and government regulatory and reporting requirements
  • Good knowledge of financial accounting, budgeting, control, and reporting principles, methods, techniques, and standards
