We are recruiting to fill the position below:       Job Title: Accountant Location: Ketu, Lagos Duties & Responsibilities

  • Accounting policies’ compliance – ensuring accounting policies are effectively adhered to.
  • Reconcile items like revenues, receivables, payables, inventories, advances and miscellaneous income, to make sure they lie within accounting policy definitions.
  • Monthly preparations of balance sheet schedules to ensure cleanliness of financial accounts.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities with cashier’s close of day report.
  • Preparation and maintenance of accounting records.
  • Processing of advance payment and loans.
  • Reconciliation of expenses.
  • Assisting the Head of Accounts on duties delegated to you.
  • Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities with cashier’s close of day report.
  • Review bank statements and reconciliation where needed.
  • Ensure adherence to company-wide accounting & other policies.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly financial statements within the specified deadlines & provide analytical reports, follow recommend corrective actions to ensure accounting controls.
  • Assist in timely completion of month end & year-end closing in preparation for annual audit.
  • Assist in preparation of key variance reports that have occurred between months.
  • Coordinate with the external auditors in delivering various audit requirements;
Requirements and Experience
  • B.Sc in Accounting, Finance.
  • Professional qualification i. e ICAN, ACCA is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years work experience in relevant field.
  • Experience in the use of different Accounting softwares .

  • Ability to be self-motivated.
      Job Title: Inventory Officer (Raw Materials) Location: Ketu, Lagos Job Description
  • Supervise and coordinate all activities for proper Inventory management to ensure optimum levels of inventory is maintained and at par with quality standards.
  • Keep track of inventory records to ensure accuracy.
  • Receiving, storing and issuing materials within the store.
  • Maintain inventory records on the bin card and Inventory Management software.
  • Responsible for preparing reports on any changes done to the Inventory that may be damaged, spoilt or returned.
  • Inspect the levels of business supplies and raw materials to identify shortages
  • Ensure stock is adequate for all distribution request and can cover direct demand
  • Record all deliveries to reconcile inventory.
  • Report to upper management on stock levels, issues etc
  • Including other duties that may be assigned by management.
  • Record periodic deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.
Requirements
  • Candidate should have BSc in Accounting, Inventory Management or related discipline.
  • Ability to use MS Office tools is required for this role.
  • 1-2 years previous experience (experience in a manufacturing or production company is an added advantage)
  • Possess strong analytical and observation skills with eyes for details; must be meticulous with a high display of integrity. Ability to use MS Office tools is critical for this role.
