Job Title: Receptionist / Front Desk Officer

Location: Magodo - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Welcoming parents and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude and answering to client inquiries.
  • Ensuring the front desk is kept neat, clutter free, and equipped with all the necessary supplies such as pens, forms, and paper.
  • Recording, transcribing and collating information, including operation of computerized administrative system.
  • Answering phones in a professional manner, and routing calls as necessary.
  • Coordinating office services for implementing and updating records.
  • Arranging appointments, meetings and circulating agendas.
  • Supporting teachers and students.
  • Undertaking other related duties as determined by the Head of School or Director.
  • General office maintenance and other responsibilities she may be assigned.
  • Providing excellent customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree / HND / NCE / OND / B.Sc.in related field.
  • Minimum of 1 - 3 years' experience.
  • Preferably female.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping with various tasks as required.
  • Prior experience as a receptionist or in related field.

Job Title: HR and Recruitment Advisor

Job Brief

  • We are looking for a Recruitment Specialist to undertake all hiring activities, from advertising open roles to interviewing candidates and closing hires.
  • Ultimately responsible for hiring qualified people while maintaining a positive candidate experience.

Description

  • Reviewing and updating all human resources policies to meet the organization's needs.
  • Supporting the development and implementation of HR initiatives and systems.
  • Actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process.
  • Creating and implementing effective onboarding plans - performing Training Needs Assessments (TNA), assisting in Organizing Training for Employees, ensuring they are fully equipped to be able to perform their duties.
  • Overseeing and managing a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
  • Coordinating the implementation of the Performance Management System including providing training on the use of performance management tools to all staff categories for proper understanding of responsibilities.

Requirements

  • University degree in Administration, Human Resource Management or other relevant disciplines.
  • Strong functional HR knowledge - Have a Strong background in employment, employee relations, benefits, wages and salary, employee training, accident prevention, and government regulations and policies.
  • Expert communication (verbal and written) and documentation skills.
  • At least 3 years' experience working as an HR and administrative officer.
  • Experience of designing and writing HR policies, procedures, offers and contracts of employment.
  • Skillful in interpersonal, time management, communication, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of the Nigerian Labour Law, employment laws and policies.

Job Title: School Accountant

Location: Magodo - Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Brief

  • Organising and managing school finance and administering payroll and pension related functions.
  • Assisting the Director, Headteacher and senior leadership team (SLT) in establishing the budget planning and financial control and procedures through which they shall be achieved, including development of resource plans as required.
  • Advising on compliance with legislation and guidance, for example, LIRS, FIRS, PENCOM, etc.

Responsibilities
The Accountant's responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance of a complete filing system and reconciliation of all customers payments for invoices.
  • Lodgment of all cheques into the bank.
  • Perform payroll accounting, make payroll entries and maintain payroll and files for the company employees.
  • Filing and remitting of pension and taxes and other financial obligations.
  • Monitor income and expenditure in relation to the school's budget, and produce monthly reports for the Directors, Headteacher and the Finance Committee.
  • Keep all school accounts and prepare income and expenditure reports in accordance with the financial regulations and shall prepare accounts for submission to the school's auditors.
  • Maintain and oversee all bank accounts including the school's debit card/s, completing monthly reconciliations and reporting banking errors.
  • Be responsible for all elements of cash handling including collections and disbursements, banking and security, fundraising and school trips.
  • Be responsible for the completion of the school's payroll, ensuring all forms including timesheets, new starter/leaver/variation forms and annual returns are submitted within required deadlines.
  • Carry out and keep analyses of costs and other statistical information.
  • Daily monitoring and tracking of all inflows into our various bank accounts.
  • Other duties of an appropriate level and nature may also be required, as directed by the Head of School.

Requirements

  • B.Sc. / HND in Accounting with a minimum of 1-3 years' work experience
  • Must be ICAN registered.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant.
  • Self-confident, mature and well dressed.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software.
  • Skilled in negotiation and dealing with complaints.
  • Persistent and results-oriented.
  • Additional certification is a plus.
