Purpose

  • To lead and manage the Terminal Asset Management team, ensuring all equipment, facilities and civil infrastructure operate at optimum level of safety, reliability, availability, efficiency and optimal lifecycle management.
  • Ensure efficient inventory and warehouse management to support seamless operations and asset availability.
  • Implement asset’s lifecycle and maintenance strategies based on industry standards and APM Terminals’ policies to support organization strategic objectives and operational excellence.
  • Foster a culture of continues improvement, developing talent, building capabilities of the Asset Management, to drive long-term organizational success

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Asset Management, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Requires five years’ experience in Asset Management leading maintenance and repair departments
  • Expertise in lean methodologies, with demonstrated success in implementing process improvements, problem solving and waste reduction across maintenance and inventory operations
  • Experience in productivity optimization through process optimization
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to build relationships and manage multiple stakeholders' interests toward a common business benefit
  • Fluent in English and local language (where applicable).
  • Exceptional leadership and team development skills, with a track record of delivering results in a multi-functional, multicultural environment
  • Proficiency in CMMS systems and data-driven decision-making
