Job Title: Early Childhood Educationist

Location: Ibadan, Oyo

Job Summary

  • The Early Childhood Educationist will design and deliver engaging educational activities for young children, fostering their cognitive, emotional, and physical development.
  • The ideal  candidate will have a strong understanding of early childhood development and a passion for nurturing young minds in a safe and stimulating environment.

 Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities to encourage learning and development.
  • Encourage positive social interaction and problem-solving skills among children.
  • Maintain records of attendance, progress, and other relevant information.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and educational standards.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding their child’s progress and needs.
  • Perform any additional tasks related to the child’s well-being and development as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Proven teaching or caregiving experience in early childhood settings.
  • Knowledge of child development stages and early learning strategies.
