Job Title: Quality Control Officer

Location: Asaba, Delta
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

  • We are looking for a quality control officer who will make sure that completed work and/or work in progress meets the requirements of the plans and specifications.
  • The Quality control officers will also be tasked with identifying ways to improve the overall quality of products or services being provided by the company. This might include anything from recommending new equipment or processes to implementing new training programs for employees.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements
  • Reject all the incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest
  • Inspect completed work and/or work in progress to determine whether the work meets specifications and plan requirements
  • Monitor overall construction performance with regard to technical quality and compliance with design and specification requirements
  • Note and report on work that does not meet the requirements
  • Educate workers on the required standards
  • Work with senior managers to identify approaches and methods to improve the overall quality
  • Resolving quality-related issues and adhering to deadlines
  • Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records
  • Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
  • Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product

Skills and Requirements

  • Significant attention to detail
  • Basic computer and math skills
  • A desire to achieve the best and ensure top-quality products.
  • Experience in a Printing firm is a plus
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes so they can contribute to error reduction and process enhancements
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
