These are also essential materials for building low cost industrial estates.

Job Description

• We are looking for a Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer to join our team as an intern and help us ensure the quality of our software products and services.

Responsibilities
As a QA Engineer intern, you will be responsible for:

• Testing current products and identifying deficiencies
• Monitoring debugging process results
• Investigating the causes of non-conforming software and training users to implement solutions
• Tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
• Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
• Suggesting solutions to identified product problems
• Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities
• Designing, developing and executing automation scripts using open source tools
• Identifying, recording, documenting and tracking bugs
• Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Developing and applying testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
• Liaising with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you should have:

• A Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
• Experience in using automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, JMeter or similar
• Experience in working with agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban
• Excellent communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality.
• Proven work experience in software development or quality assurance
• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• Experience in working with SQL and scripting languages
