Job Title: Production Supervisor - PVC

Job Description

  • We are seeking to fill the role of a Production Supervisor to oversee the PVC production, section of the company. Your job will cut across ensuring quality and efficiency across the production process to drive production targets and quality while leading your team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Supervise the entire PVC production process, ensuring it meets production targets and deadlines.
  • Collaborate closely with the production planning team to ensure the availability of necessary resources like raw materials, equipment, and labor.
  • Monitor production operations meticulously to guarantee compliance with stringent quality standards, safety regulations, and established standard operating procedures.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or areas for improvement within the production process and initiate and oversee process enhancements.
  • Conduct routine inspections of the production area to maintain cleanliness, organization, and strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the production team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, identify training needs, and proactively address conflicts or issues within the team.
  • Ensure appropriate staffing levels, efficiently manage employee schedules and enforce rigorous quality control procedures to produce PVC products that consistently meet customer specifications and quality standards.
  • Coordinate effectively with maintenance teams to ensure timely equipment maintenance and repairs, minimizing production downtime.
  • Provide strong leadership and motivation to a team of production workers, fostering an environment of high performance and productivity.
  • Offer guidance, training, and constructive feedback to team members to enhance their skills and overall performance.

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field (preferred).
  • 4+ years as a Production Supervisor in plastics manufacturing.
  • Safety regulations knowledge.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Flexibility for shifts.
  • Experience in Plastic injection mould machines and Maintenance of HAITAN machines.
  • Experience in maintaining Recycling machines (Washing, Extrusion, Fitter, Grinding).
  • Knowledge in PVC production processes.
  • Familiarity with quality control in manufacturing.
  • Leadership and organizational skills.
  • Problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.
