Job Title: Production Operative

Location: Orlu, Imo
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• Able to work from diagrams and instructions to complete agreed tasks production, in accordance with specifications of insert as applicable
• Fix minor issues that may arise with the production line and trouble-shoot when production issues occur
• Immediately notify Line Manager when production issues occur that cannot be resolved by you
• Participate in the set up of future production lines and procedures
• Input data into computer system to record products
• Ensure that continuous production is maintained wherever possible
• Operate equipment safely and in accordance with all instruction and guidelines, including health and safety
• Wear any Personal Protective Equipment supplied as instructed
• Follow batch orders
• Generally monitor the work and work practices being undertaken and completed with testing and checking to identify problems
• Undertake equipment inspection, maintenance and cleaning in accordance with instructions
• Maintain accurate process data/records/documentation associated with your work
• Carry out planned tasks in accordance with contract requirements and associated systems
• Carry out tasks within time limits
• Responsibly use resources and control expenses to meet budgetary controls
• Adhere to all organisation policies and procedures
• From time to time you may be expected to be part of special projects as are reasonably required of your job role.
• You are responsible for your allocated workload and must meet all targets as agreed with your Line Manager. You must contribute towards the smooth running of the organisation generally.
• Ensure compliance to quality standards, policies and procedures, codes and legislation including health and safety
• Immediately report problems/failures that may impact on the organisation and/or its clients/customers to Line Manager
• Contribute towards the smooth running of the team
