Job Title: Procurement Officer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Scope

  • The Procurement Officer at Felton Energy Services Limited is responsible for developing and implementing processes related to procurement and sourcing activities.
  • They will work closely with the Procurement Lead to ensure efficient progress reports and successful execution of procurement strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fruitful sourcing strategies to meet company objectives.
  • Identify and establish partnerships with profitable suppliers.
  • Perform data analysis to anticipate alterations in negotiating ability and prepare control strategies.
  • Conduct risk management for supply contracts and agreements.
  • Control procurement spend and foster a culture of long-term cost savings.
  • Follow up on procurement enquiries and leads to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Prepare and submit tender and proposal packages.
  • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms and finalize purchase details.
  • Examine and test existing contracts to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve procurement effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to clarify specifications and expectations.
  • Build and maintain a client database for procurement purposes.
  • Complete all other tasks as assigned by the Procurement Lead.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
